You can't beat a Roadie!
My friend and i were on the way home from work tonight and he wanted to have some fun. He drives an 89 Olds cutlass, with the 3800 v6, i believe. He pulled out to pass and i wouldnt let him. We got up to 80, but had to let off because there was a hill. After the hill he tried it again. I saw his headlights lift, but i waited for him to get to my back bumper so he wouldnt call it unfair. Doing this, though he had a pretty good jump on me, so he was slowly gaining on my up until 95-100 mph, then i quickly began to pull away. He never got past my b-pillar. I was surprised at how quick his car was, though.
I also raced a kid in his chevy cheyenne w/ the 305 on the way home from school one day. I pulled out to pass, and he went WOT, so when i realized he was playing me, i punched it, too. By 80 mph i was along side of him and passed him pretty easily.
I also raced a friend with a 94 blazer 4.3L in my mom's 96 roadie before i got my car. He had a little jump on me, but by 90 mph he was dropping back quickly. Just cant lose with that LT1.
