Update......98 buick regal gs . car making a clicking and pinging sound when i accelerates fast and lacks power. I heard that TBS bullentin mentioned something about exhaust or seals ,could it be a cracked seal making this noise






FOUND THE PROBLEM IT WAS THE SPARK PLUG WIRES

"Pinging" usually refers to re-ignition...
The supercharged engine requires premium grade fuel. If your not using it, this could be the problem....
Whatever is causing the problem, GET IT LOOKED AT!
It was explained to me years ago that pre-ignition is liek taking a 10 pound ball-peen hammer and pounding the tops of the pistons...not good!
