Lightbulb Customize your LaCrosse

Buick is really trying to appeal to a younger audience with their Enclave, LaCrosse and soon to be launched Regal/GS models. I'm only 25, and I applaud their efforts - certainly never would have thought I would own a Buick this early in life . But the new LaCrosse certainly caught my eye and was too good a value to pass up. My father (in his 50's) has owned two Century's and now drives a 2009 Lucerne. So I guess you can say we're a Buick family.

I always like to give my cars a little personality - "pimp my ride" so to speak. Anyone else out there give their LaCrosse some non-factory add-ons?

Pictured here is Buick LaCrosse CXS with Boss 328 wheels from Boss Motorsports. Wanted to give it a slight Mercedes-Benz look. Never did like General Motors' choice of wheels on their cars.

I have the White Diamond TriColor and added a pin stripe along the line from the front to the rear. Really sets off the line. Other than that, I think it looks great without anything else.

Here it is. I hope you can see it. It follows the contour line and is Brown, Actual Paint, then Tan on bottom.

Thanks asctony the two tone must look even better in person. I ordered the Ebony interior not sure on what colors for the pinstripe. Maybe black and silver.

The guy who did my pinstripe match the color to the interior. I almost had a heart attack when he was matching the paint. He put dabs on my door and just left it there. I could visualize that it would dry and then it would not come off. He laughed and showed how he could wipe it off without any remaining. So, best of luck on yours. I am sure you will enjoy it like we do ours.

My CXS , has the 19" special wheels, and is silver. On Most of my previous cars, I added the Presidential Package, (vinyl top) and it included the pin stripe. On my 2010 CXS, I thought enough was enough, but I have added the mud flaps and am looking into adding just a plain straight black pin stripe from front to back or however the shop recommends. I am beginning to love the car but it did take some getting used to. Part of problem is living in the Boston area, the weather has kept me from taking any chances until I learn all about the car and in six weeks, I have only 300 miles on the car. But, it is a great car. Very futuristic and so glad I don't have a Toyota...

Looking for some good protection for the carpet in your LaCrosse? WeatherTech just released their DigitalFit floorliners for the 2010 LaCrosse - that means these are digitally cut for a perfect fit both front and back. These floorliners are far from cheap. A full set will set you back $169.90 US or $209.90 in Canada. However, in my opinion, they're worth opening your wallet for. If you live in an area where road salt is everywhere during the winter months like I do, you'll definitely come to cherish these mats.

I purchased them for my Impala and Charger and definitely did not regret spending a little money for custom floorliners and added protection:

Yep ordered my set last week. I wish the back set was one piece though.

I bought a set from Costco and they cost me only $16.00 plus tax. Very good looking (match color of inside car) very sturdy (thick) and the best value I could find from all the stores I visited. Other mats not a good quality were much more expensive. If you have a Costco around your home, check them out.
