01 Regal wipers

My car's wipers work very strange. They start to work on highest position only. From time to time they work on other positions too but only I start them on highest position. I do not know how understandable I explained but your advice will help.

The crank arm is not stopping where it should, due to the tab on the wiper transmission being either bent or worn. You need to take the black cowl trim off below the windshield and inspect them. You might be able to bend the tab on the transmission and take care of it, or you'll need to replace the crank arm and/or transmission.
