04 Rainier - Problem with Low-beam Headlights

Click here to remove this ad.
I have an intermittent problem with my low-beam headlights not working. All the other lights work fine. Both low beams will suddenly go out, but sometimes will start working again after a few minutes. Other times it may take several hours before they will work. The problem is the garage has not been able to replicate the problem as it is only intermittent. I have not been able to identify any commonalities when this occurs. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Re: 04 Rainier - Problem with Low-beam Headlights

I have the same issue with my 2004 Rainer. Low beams go off intermittently. High beams work. Anybody have the same problem and/or solution?

Swap the headlamp relay with another one and see if it fixes it.

Try covering the photo sensor on top of the dash.... Use black tape....
