trans problem?

after driving a while i notice a small puddle of trans fluid under my car. I checked it out & it seems to be comming from the gasket or bolts on the trans pan???? I also notice when im going about 70 mph it stumbels but it's not very often. please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Replace your filter and gasket. If you have a formed rigid gasket on already, no need to replace it, unless there is noticeable damage. Just clean it up and reuse it. As far as the stumbling at 70 mph, i have the same problem. It seems like its an overdrive issue, because when I drop it into third it goes away. I am going to change my transmission vacuum modulator this weekend, I will let you know how it goes

In addition to replacing the pan gasket and filter, snug up the bolts on the side cover. They are hard to get at but you can get at most of them with a 10mm box wrench and a small socket. They can loosen up and drip down making it look like its coming from the pan.
